This facial begins with a deep cleanse and a light chemical peel tailored to your skin type and condition. We then apply warm, gentle steam to the face to open up the pores, followed by extractions to remove blackheads and reduce minor breakouts. Next, we administer either a pore-purifying clay mask or its CO₂ mask counterpart, which helps to nourish the skin and remove toxins.
Starting off on the same path as our Acne Essentials facial, this is our most popular acne treatment, in which we’ll begin with a deep cleanse and a superficial chemical peel tailored to your skin type and condition. We then apply warm, gentle steam to your face to open up the pores, followed by extraction therapy to remove blackheads and reduce minor breakouts. Next, we administer either a pore-purifying clay mask, or its CO₂ -based counterpart, which helps to nourish the skin and remove toxins.
Then, depending on your skin condition and type, we’ll use one or two key components from the five-pronged Préime DermaFacial toolkit: the AquaB ‘hydrofacial’, which cleanses, exfoliates and refreshes the skin with an infusion of nourishing active ingredients; and/or the VibroX, a bespoke microdermabrasion tool including a basic ‘no needles’ carboxytherapy style treatment, where CO₂ bubbles are suffused into the skin via a gel to stimulate blood circulation.
You’ll also enjoy a healing dose of LED light therapy (we use the Korean hospital grade system, Lem Light), potentially amplified by Lumixa, a unique photodynamic serum-gel, which reduces inflammation and stimulates collagen production, enhancing skin regeneration.
Soothing cold lasers, also known as Lower-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), are used to pack a serious bio-stimulating and anti-inflammatory punch without the heat damage of ‘hot’ lasers that can exacerbate acne.
Sometimes called ‘micro-botox’, an advanced muscle-relaxing solution (aka Botox) is injected into the middle layer of the skin via the time-honoured technique of mesotherapy, which uses single, precision-targeted needles to hit the right spot. Subtly rejuvenating, it can shrink pores, reduce the excess pore-clogging sebum that contributes to acne, and offer up a satisfying dose of all-round skin-perfecting. Please note that this treatment option is only available following a consultation with a doctor or nurse.
This acne-blasting component of the Sciton Light & Laser treatments family uses blue, red, and yellow light energy in sequence to eradicate bacteria, plump, shrink inflammation, and heal the skin.
Exosomes (the tiny growth-factor-containing sacks generated by animal or plant cells capable of supercharging skin regeneration and hair growth) can also be administered via microneedling to ensure they penetrate deeply. These hyper-healing micro miracle workers – ours come from renowned Korean manufacturer ExCoBio – are often dubbed minor miracle workers, and can even help remodel acne scars while enlivening lacklustre skin.
Here we use a tailored combination of the Sciton JOULE® lasers that don’t require downtime or numbing to heal acne-troubled skin. These include the acne-blasting Forever Clear, the light touch skin-booster ClearSilk, and the zone-targeting, vascular condition-relieving ClearV.
The deeper-dive version of the TLC Mini Laser Medley for those willing to accept a little more downtime; for this add-on, we combine the acne-blasting Forever Clear, the light touch skin-booster ClearSilk, the zone-targeting, vascular condition-relieving ClearV, and the MicroLaserPeel, which shaves away the top layer of skin to stimulate the skin’s regenerative processes, remedying issues such as superficial scars and poor texture.
