Long Lasting Dermal Fillers

Long Lasting Dermal Fillers

The majority of long lasting Dermal Fillers are made using hyaluronic acid. This naturally occurring substance helps to lubricate body tissue and can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water, making it an ideal injectable for those seeking to restore lost volume and smooth away creases. Despite its advantages, hyaluronic acid is metabolised by the body over time, giving those newly sculpted contours something of a shelf life. Frequent movement causes the material to break down, meaning areas such as the lips and marionette region may require regular top-ups. That said, The Lovely Clinic uses a variety of long lasting Dermal Fillers that do not require repeat treatments for up to two years.

Our 3 Types Of Long Lasting Dermal Fillers

JUVÉDERM®

Juvéderm® Dermal Fillers are some of the most popular and widely used on the market. Their diverse range of products has been uniquely formulated to give natural-looking results across the face and body. The Juvéderm® Vycross® range features Volbella®, Vollure® and Voluma® fillers, which have all been created with slightly different purposes in mind. Differences in molecular weights and lengths of hyaluronic acid strands allow for tighter cross-linking and increased longevity in this well-known range.

CHEEKS AND CHINS

Juvéderm® Voluma® is one of the most sought-after and long lasting Dermal Fillers on the market. The firm formula lifts and contours beautifully with results lasting for up to 24 months. Used to elevate sunken cheeks and resculpt the chin, treatments instantly restore facial balance and create a more youthful look.

NASOLABIAL FOLDS

Juvéderm® Vollure® can be used to combat moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. The lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth, known as nasolabial folds, become more pronounced with age. Treated with Vollure® they can be smoothed away for up to 18 months.

LIPS

Long lasting Dermal Fillers such as Juvéderm® Voluma® are used for lip augmentation and the correction of asymmetry and perioral lines. Despite the lips being a hotspot for frequent movement, treatments using Voluma® can last for up to 12 months.

RADIESSE®

Not only does Radiesse® fill wrinkles and restore volume, but its advanced formula also stimulates the production of collagen for enduring results. Made from calcium hydroxylapatite gel microspheres, the gel mimics the structure of connective tissue.

IMPROVE SKIN QUALITY IN LARGER AREAS

At The Lovely Clinic, your practitioner may suggest using long lasting Dermal Fillers such as Radiesse® to treat larger areas. In doing this, subtle body contouring can be achieved immediately, but results continue to improve over time as collagen levels increase. Results last for 15 months on average.

MORE YOUTHFUL HANDS

Radiesse® is the perfect Filler to remedy poor skin quality and the ageing appearance of the hands. A loss of volume shows quickly in the back of the hands, giving bones and veins more prominence. When treated with Radiesse®, results may last for up to 12 months.

SCULPTRA®

Sculptra® is not technically a Dermal Filler, but a collagen bio-stimulator. This incredible injectable treatment uses poly-L-lactic acid to replenish the body’s natural collagen supply. It can be used alongside other long lasting Dermal Fillers for a more complete anti-ageing treatment.

RESTORE SIGNIFICANT VOLUME LOSS

When areas such as the cheeks, temples and tear troughs lose volume, the ageing effect is profound. Sculptra® stimulates collagen growth to help restore facial volume and fullness over time. Results appear gradually but last for around 24 months.
